Najib has been fascinated with the beauty of weaving art since he was very young. During his studies at the University of Hamburg he became more involved in the tradition of weaving art and rugs as cultural artifact. His researches also led him to the rug origin countries. Within the years he developed a special view for vintage pieces. Today Najib is recognized world-wide for his professionalism and knowledge.
Najib´s goal is to convey the spirit, beauty and magic of rugs. In a time when rugs are often seen as a flooring material or as an ordinary object of utility, Najib´s effort is to preserve and save rugs as a cultural artifact. His main focus is on rugs as objects of art.
